Hours of operation
Children attend the preschool for either two days per week (Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday) or three days per week (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) between the hours of 8.00am - 3.30pm. The 2 day programme is designed for 3-4 year olds and the 3 day programme caters for 4-5 year olds.
The Programme
Children at Gordon Community Preschool have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of experiences, carefully planned by highly qualified staff to enhance and maximise the potential and development of each child.
The programme is driven by the strengths, needs and interests of the children. Staff are involved in a continual process of observing children, recording their observations and planning the programme as the result of these observations. The programme also includes a number of visiting performers and excursions throughout the year.
